More Than a Wedding Vendor: What It’s Like to Be Your Wedding Filmmaker

There’s a moment at every wedding I film when I tear up and think,
“Wow. I can’t believe this is my job.”

And it is because I’m not just showing up with a camera. I’m not clocking in and out like it’s any ordinary day. I only do about 10 weddings each year.

When you invite me to film your wedding, you’re not just hiring a vendor.
You’re letting me into some of the most tender, joyful, sacred moments of your life.
You’re trusting me to see you. Like REALLY SEE YOU. In all your nerves and excitement and love.

And that means something to me.

It means I’ll find you a water bottle and emergency snacks.
It means I’ll fix your veil or tie your shoelaces if needed.
It means I’ll cry behind my lens during your vows, and cheer for you when you hit the dance floor.
It means I’m watching for the little glances, the hand squeezes, the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it magic that makes your story yours.

Because you are not just another booking on my calendar.
You’re two people with a story I get to preserve and that is an honor I’ll never take lightly.

So thank you to my past couples and future couples for letting me in.
For trusting me not just to capture the day, but to feel it with you.
I’m forever grateful.

And if you’re still looking for your wedding filmmaker, someone who will show up not just as a vendor but as a friend, you know where to find me.
